SusaPlay’s AI tools let an AI coding assistant work on your Unity WebGL game with SusaPlay’s own rules: integrate the SDK, check the project’s settings, inspect and publish builds, upload and publish Addressables, and read your games and analytics. They come in three parts: The source is public at github.com/Susa-Games/susaplay-ai.

Requirements

  • Node.js 20 or later. The MCP server runs on your machine with Node.js.
  • A developer API key for the tools that call SusaPlay. Without one, the skills, the docs server and the local checks still work.

Create a key for the assistant

In the Developer Portal → API Keys, create a key with one of these presets (API Keys): Name the key after the machine and tool, such as “Claude Code — laptop”, so you can revoke it alone.
Never paste an API key into a chat with an assistant. Set it in the tool’s settings as shown below. If a key ever reaches a chat, revoke it in the portal and create a new one.

Claude Code

Install the SusaPlay plugin — skills, the MCP server and the docs server together. In a Claude Code session:
On Claude Code older than 2.1.275, add the marketplace first:
Claude Code asks for your SusaPlay API key during the install and keeps it in your system’s credential store. To change it later, run /plugin configure susaplay. Check the install with /mcp: susaplay and susaplay-docs should be connected.
Claude Code does not update plugins from a third-party marketplace automatically. Turn it on in /plugin → Marketplaces → susaplay → Enable auto-update, or update by hand with Update marketplace there.

Cursor

The SusaPlay plugin for Cursor brings the same skills and both servers. It is waiting for review in the Cursor Marketplace; until it is listed, install it locally:
On Windows, copy the plugins/susaplay folder to %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\plugins\local\susaplay instead of linking it. Then run Developer: Reload Window and check Customize: the four skills and the two MCP servers should appear. git pull in susaplay-ai updates the plugin. The key is the plugin variable SUSAPLAY_API_KEY. On a Teams or Enterprise plan, an admin turns on Allow Local Plugin Imports and sets the variable in the Cursor dashboard under Plugins → Configure. After setting it, quit Cursor completely and open it again.

Other tools

Add the MCP server to the tool’s MCP configuration. For Cursor without the plugin, in ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
Use the file in your home folder, not a .cursor/mcp.json inside a project, so the key is never committed. On Windows, if the server does not start, use "command": "cmd" with "args": ["/c", "npx", "-y", "@susaplay/mcp"]. This gives the tools and the docs, without the skills. The skills are plain SKILL.md folders in plugins/susaplay/skills that tools supporting the open skills format can load.

What the assistant can do

The assistant is told to show you the plan and get your confirmation before it publishes or rolls back Addressables. The server refuses content that would break your live build either way. Not available to an assistant, on purpose: registering a game, enabling Addressables, deleting staged files, webhooks and their secrets, economy settings, API keys, and Request public. Those stay in the Developer Portal.

Try it

Open your Unity project in the assistant and ask, for example:
  • “Check this project’s SusaPlay setup.”
  • “Add SusaPlay cloud saves to my save system.”
  • “Publish my WebGL build in Builds/WebGL as the next version of my game.”
  • “Upload my Addressables content and show me the publish plan.”
